I am not normally sympathetic to the IFA and farmers’ lobby groups calling for something, but they issued a press release recently, about which I would like the Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources to be reminded... |

On Wednesday, 19th May, 2010, I introduced the Construction Contracts Bill 2010 to the Seanad. (The Bill will improve payment practices and therefore much needed cashflow in the constuction industry, particularly aiding sub-contractors. It will also provide for an alternative dispute resolution mechanism.) |

There is little doubt that there is a serious need for debate on these tribunals.
